02 / Safety lens materials

Lightweight Materials for Safety Eyewear

RxPro Safety offers prescription lens solutions using Polycarbonate and Trivex, subject to prescription requirements, frame compatibility and product specifications.

  • ✓Polycarbonate
Lightweight and impact-resistant lens material commonly used in safety eyewear.
  • ✓Trivex
Lightweight material known for impact-resistant properties and optical performance.
Important: The complete lens-and-frame configuration must meet the relevant requirements for its intended application. Material name or refractive index alone does not establish safety compliance.

Choose for Your Working Environment

Lens options can be selected to suit different visual needs and lighting conditions. Suitability depends on the specific workplace and its hazards.

◉

Clear Lenses

Vision correction without intentional tinting. Suitable for many indoor applications where clear lenses meet the requirements of the working environment.

◐

Tinted Lenses

Available in selected colours and configurations for appropriate lighting conditions and visual requirements.

☼

Photochromic Lenses

Change tint in response to UV exposure and, depending on technology, other environmental conditions. May suit users moving between indoor and outdoor environments.

Tinted and photochromic lenses are not automatically suitable for every industrial application. Lens selection should account for workplace hazards and lighting requirements.

Additional Features for Your Lenses

Explore compatible coating options based on the selected lens configuration and available specifications.

OPTION 01

Multicoat

Multiple thin layers may provide selected benefits such as anti-reflective properties, easier cleaning or enhanced surface durability, depending on the coating package.

OPTION 02

Blue Light Filtering

Designed to filter a specified portion of blue-violet light. Depending on lens design, the lens may have a clear or slightly tinted appearance.

OPTION 03

Scratch-Resistant Coating

Designed to improve resistance to surface abrasion during normal use and cleaning. No lens coating makes a lens completely scratch-proof.
